Rich Jones has been voted Man of the Match for the game away at Ipswich Athletic in January. Rich scored Playford first goal of 2024 and their only goal of the games as they were beaten 2-1. It takes his goal tally to 72 as he continues to close in on Julian Warth (74).
Josh Bolton has been voted Man of the Match for the away game against Eye Saints in December. He scored both the Playford goals in a 7-2 defeat.
Luke Coates has been voted Man of the Match against Claydon Athletic in November. He scored once as Playford drew 2-2.
Daryl Francis has been selected as Man of the Match against Wincanton. He scored a hat-trick as Playford ran out 6-0 winners.
George Godbold was voted Man of the Match against Taverners Reserves, he scored one and made three as Playford ran out 6-1 winners.
Ash King covered in goal for Andy Cubitt, saving a second half penalty. This along with the rest of his performance earned him the Man of the Match.
Luke Mallett and Andy Cubitt have been jointly voted Man of the Match for the 2-0 win against Northam Celtic.
Andy Cubitt was selected by his team mates as Man of the Match against Martlesham Old Boys.
Ben Williamson has been voted man of the match for Playford’s record breaking victory over Languard Rovers. He scored four of Playford’s 23 (twenty-three) goals. Playford had eleven different goal scorers, and as well as Ben, Dan Smith, Chris Smith, Daryl Francis, and Jordan Robinson hit hat-tricks. The award is Ben’s first for the club.
Ash King has been voted the Man of the Match against Gardeners Arms in the first round of the Suffolk Sunday Shield. He scored both Playford’s goals as they were soundly knocked out at the first hurdle.
