Playford are delighted to confirm the return of Jacob Buck, as the prolific forward re-joins the club.

A familiar name to the Playford faithful, Buck was a standout performer during his previous spell between 2020 and 2023, establishing himself as one of the league’s most dangerous attacking threats.

During his time at the club, he made 28 appearances and netted an incredible 28 goals under former manager Max Juster. His standout campaign came in the 2021/22 season, where he was crowned Player of the Season and finished as the Premier Division top scorer, hitting 15 league goals (16 in all competitions).

Now back in the fold and possibly set to wear his iconic number 99 shirt, Buck adds serious firepower to an already improving Playford side.

Manager Daryl Francis shared his excitement:

“Very happy to have signing back on an old first team player Jacob.
Played under Max Juster for 3 seasons. Playing 28 games and scoring 28 goals. Jacob will add support and immense goal threat to this already growing team.

Welcome back Jacob.”

Buck himself kept it simple:

“Looking forward to it #uppaplayford”

With a proven record and an eye for goal, it’s safe to say defenders across the league won’t be thrilled to see number 99 back in Playford colours.
