Quarter Final defeat
Playford were beaten at the quarter final stage of the League Cup by Brett Vale. Goals from Daryl Francis and Ellis Rowland were not enough to put them into a second semi final in two seasons. Goalkeeper Cameron Overett was voted man of the match by his team mates.

Cup Final Defeat for Reserves
Playford Reserves were beaten by Taverners in the Junior Cup final in May. The game was close throughout with both sides having chances.
