King into Fifth

When Ash King came off the bench in Playford’s 9-0 win over Taverners Reserves in the Cup he played in his 262nd game with Playford.

This appearance jumped him above Simon Goldsmith and into fifth place on the All-Time appearance list.

Kingy joined the club in 2010 as a 19 year old and has been playing consistently ever since. Starting as a full-back he later came to the fore as a winger and creative forward that makes things happen and excites teammates.

He has scored 47 times and has 68 assists (placing him second in that chart.)
